 First look

AI, rumoured

Hints of deeper AI across CRM, accounting and inventory.

Lighter UX

A refreshed interface, fewer clicks, cleaner flows.

Faster upgrades

Expected improvements to the migration tooling.

What this could mean
for you

Less manual work, more business work

If the AI story holds, routine admin keeps shrinking: invoices that book themselves, quotes that draft themselves, stock counts that flag themselves. Your team gets time back for the work that actually moves the business forward.

Faster onboarding for new people

A lighter interface and cleaner flows mean new joiners and new branches get up to speed faster. Less time training, more time delivering.

Less custom code, lower TCO

The more Odoo covers natively, the fewer custom modules you have to maintain over time. That keeps your total cost of ownership predictable as the product evolves and your roadmap aligned with the standard.

A safer upgrade path

Improvements to the migration tooling are on the cards, which means shorter project lead times and fewer surprises, especially if you are still on Odoo 16 or 17. We will guide you through it from audit to go-live.

One single source of truth, end to end

Odoo 20 deepens the unified view across sales, operations, finance and HR. Less data jumping between tools, fewer manual exports, sharper decisions on the same numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Odoo 20 is unveiled at Odoo Experience 2026 in Brussels from 24 to 26 September 2026, with general availability rolling out two to four weeks after the conference.

Based on what Odoo has shared so far, Odoo 20 focuses on AI throughout the ERP, deeper finance automation, global commerce without custom integrations, and a unified planning view for manufacturing and operations. The complete feature list is revealed at Odoo Experience, get in touch with Dynapps for the full breakdown once it is public.

We run your Odoo 20 upgrade in four structured phases: an audit of your current version and custom modules, a migration plan with a fixed timeline and investment, a controlled upgrade in a staging environment, and go-live with post-launch support. Direct migration paths from Odoo 16, 17, 18 and 19 are all supported. The effort depends on your customisations and data volume, which we size in a free upgrade audit, without commitment. As a Belgian Odoo Gold Partner with more than 200 Odoo projects delivered, we have walked this path for every recent Odoo version.

For teams on Odoo 16 or 17, Odoo 20 is likely worth planning for now, because support windows are closing. For teams on Odoo 19, the decision is usually about timing. Dynapps typically recommends a managed upgrade within twelve months of general availability.
