We are delighted to introduce Pierre, our new Functional Finance Consultant, whose ERP experience further strengthens our Finance department.
Can you introduce yourself in a few words and tell us about your background before joining Dynapps France?
I am a Functional Finance Consultant at Dynapps France. I have nearly eight years of experience in management control and industrial finance.
I’ve had the opportunity to grow both in large corporations such as Airbus and Lesaffre, and in a startup/SME like Naïo Technologies, working in both national and international environments.
These experiences have given me a very concrete understanding of companies’ financial and operational challenges. I have also worked with several ERPs, including Odoo and SAP.
What made you want to join Dynapps and what convinced you most about the company and its project?
After several years working on the corporate side, I wanted to share my finance experience and move into a more cross-functional role. I was drawn to Dynapps because of its recognized expertise in Odoo and its close alignment with clients’ real needs.
The discussions during the interviews were very positive and transparent, which clearly confirmed my decision to join the company.
After a few weeks with the team, what are your first impressions of the environment and culture at Dynapps?
After just three weeks, my first impressions are very positive. I was welcomed with great simplicity and availability. The atmosphere is friendly while remaining highly professional — something I experienced firsthand during my second week when I took part in Dynapps Day.
As a Finance Consultant, what are your main responsibilities?
My role is to support clients in implementing and optimizing Odoo modules, mainly accounting, but not only that.
I work based on their business needs to propose tailored solutions, with a clear objective: to make the tool simple, reliable, and truly useful on a daily basis for their teams.
What are the main challenges in supporting clients?
The main challenge is to fully understand the expectations of the teams, especially finance teams, in order to offer concrete and relevant solutions in Odoo.
It is also about ensuring data quality and encouraging user adoption from the early stages of the project. Building a relationship of trust is essential.
Finally, could you share an anecdote that illustrates your integration at Dynapps?
I don’t have a specific anecdote yet, but what stands out to me most is the team cohesion and the great atmosphere I experienced during Dynapps Day!
