From the very start of his career, Thijs has been focused on implementing ERP software for businesses, gaining experience with different employers in a wide range of industries. In 2017, he discovered Odoo. After a year working with an Odoo partner, he decided to take the leap and start his own business.
The many benefits of Odoo
Back then, Odoo was still fairly unknown in the Netherlands, but Thijs quickly saw its potential. “What I really like about Odoo is that it offers a complete solution for companies. Everything connects seamlessly, and the system is built with simplicity in mind. And as it turns out, that’s often harder than you’d think.”
For more than six years, Thijs worked as an independent consultant, mainly helping manufacturing companies and wholesalers implement Odoo. “It was a fantastic time, but eventually I was ready for a new challenge.”
Teamwork and knowledge sharing at Dynapps
That made the move to the world’s largest Odoo partner an easy decision.
“As a freelancer, I was on my own. At Dynapps, I suddenly have more than 200 colleagues to exchange ideas with,” Thijs says. “That means a lot to me. I think it’s important to learn from each other, and here, people are always willing to share their knowledge. By sparring with colleagues, you often gain new insights—and that makes everyone better in the end.”
Ready to get started
Thijs kicked off his journey at Dynapps with a week of onboarding at the head office in Geel, Belgium, where he got to know the organization and meet his colleagues. Now, he’s ready to dive into projects—and he couldn’t be more excited.
